Hackintosh Build Guide (Patreon Exclusive) Teaser Preview

Hackintosh Build Guide (Patreon Exclusive) Teaser Preview
Hackintosh Build Guide (Patreon Exclusive) Teaser Preview

Hey, guys, welcome to our sneak preview of our hacking tosh. Step by step, build an installation guide. Now, this is just a preview.

This actual video is over an hour long, and it’s literally a complete step by step on how to take the parts out of the box, put everything together, get us 10 and install it and everything else. People been asking for this article for a long time.

We’ve been hesitant to do so for a couple of reasons. One, it just takes a lot of time to do this. And two, there’s just a lot of different parts out there.

And even if you get the same parts, sometimes it’s still small things that come up depending on your software variation bio. So you have to figure out.

We decided to make this article and it should be just the most detailed step by step Macintosh guide that is out there. Lisa.

Ofcourse, all this information is available for free.

There is twenty Mac, eight x eighty six Web site. It’s just filled with knowledge, great forums with tons of super knowledgeable people, way more knowledgeable than I am. But we just decided to make this for you guys.

So I hope you guys enjoy this preview. Would you just going to see some different shots of what’s included in the article ?

And if you want to support us on patriarchy that is already up there and available? There’s a lot of other bonus content, early access, exclusive videos and other extras and downloads and all sorts of stuff like that on our patrie.

I know we decided to launch a patron so that we can make more article for you guys.

As you guys know, I have a full time employee and I have to pay the bills and pay him before I pay myself and feed my two kids and everything else. But I love making these YouTube videos, even though they’re not very profitable compared to do an actual work.

It’s just I enjoy it and enjoy it when I can help you guys. You guys love the article . So we want to be able to spend more time making more videos in higher quality, more detailed ones especially want to be able to keep more cameras on hand that we don’t need currently, that we can’t do to make more comparison article out.

You guys just really love and that’s really helpful. So that’s basically our goals with Patron.

So for the price of, you know, one coffee a month, you guys can get a bunch of bonuses,Thank you guys very much.

Now, I also want to talk about, like Macintoshes in general. Is it worth doing building yourself a hack and tosh? Well, it could be worth it. We have, I think, three. I’m not using all that right now, but three of them.

This is the newest right here. And if you’re somebody who wants to use Mac OS and either you just like the platform compared to Windows or you want to use final cut, that’s our main reasoning. And you don’t have the money.

That is a big reason it’s worth it. Or if you want to do more customization like my other Macintosh have. You can have a look at rates that have been there, a Blu ray burner.

You can have different add in cards that you can put in and Apple is no longer allowing you to do that. Now, on top of that, you can even get way better performance for your money as the same time. So this system by itself with a single GP, you at the time that I built it was I think nine hundred and under a thousand bucks basically.

And it performs actually faster than that. Four thousand six hundred dollars. Mac Pro.

And from your point on my channel I have a link in the description and the end card at the end of this article . So definitely go and check that out.

It actually runs cooler under load and quieter under load and it’s twenty five, about twenty five percent faster and it’s less than a quarter of the price for the computer itself. So very, very good results. Now who is a hack.

Not good for. Well if you’re a small business owner and or just an average person and you don’t want to deal with any issues that could come up, it’s really not for you.

If you buy a Mac, it’s going to cost you a lot more. But you have the convenience of having a warranty walking down the street or driving down the street to an Apple store and then there they’re able to fix it for you. You have those conveniences.

So if you want to have the least possible issues and you get frustrated working on computers and you don’t have the time to spend figuring some things out, that’s not for you.

Just pay the three thousand four thousand dollars for a Mac or buy a Windows P.C. and well, if you buy a windows of I still have some of the same issues or more actually. But if you have the money and you just want to Mac that works and you don’t like working on computers or you don’t have the time to figure some small issues out.

Don’t don’t build a hack and tosh. But if you want to save money or you don’t have the money or you like to tinker or you want to put in the internal raids, that could be faster than SSD with tons more storage for less money burners, add in cars, accessories, all sorts of stuff like that.

And you’re willing to spend a little bit of time figuring things out.

Macintoshes are really good option. And now a Macintosh. If you get the right parts and you follow my build guide with the exact parts that I use and those parts in the article description and you follow the build guide, most likely you’re not going to have any issues or very little.

Now, we’ve had this setup for over six months now and we really have almost no issues.

We have a little Bluetooth U.S. chip that kind of flakes out, which we just need to get a new one. It’s not a problem with the computer. And we also have a cheap kind of like a Chinese for bay hard drive enclosure that’s U.S. B.

And if that thing’s plugged in, the system won’t won’t boot up.

Actually, if it’s not if it’s started, I should say. But if it’s turned off, the system boots up or if you unplug it. Now we have tons of other hard drives, SSD, laptop, hard drives, big hard drives. No issues. It’s just that one particular device.

Other than that, it’s really been great. So if you get the right parts and you go through the initial setup, making sure you install everything correctly, you’re really not going to have very much issues.

Now, if you don’t follow the right parts or anything like that, you could have more issues.

But Tony Mac, ex Eighty-six has a bunch of great info there. So basically, hopefully your guys are enjoying seeing some of these parts. We try to do the most detailed guide we can.

Now, we’re not going to be able to offer any tech support or any build support or anything like that because it’s really not what we do. And so if you’re going to file those bill Gaian and some things do come up, just go on the Tony Mac Web site.

People way smarter that no code and no everything else can point you guys to the right direction. But if you’ve never built a computer before or you have never been to hacking, Tosches is going to save you a ton of time.

The first time I built my Macintosh, I think I was paying about close to 16 hours to figure everything out. And I think with this build guide, you should be able to do it in way less time.

So hopefully you guys enjoy this article . Definitely. This thing is just it’s really impressive. It looks really pretty good right there, too. So thank you guys for watching.

There’s going to be a link in the description to our patrie on page where you guys can, you know, spend a couple of bucks a month and support us to make more great article and get some bonuses at the same time.

Make sure you guys enable those notifications, because YouTube is for some weird reason, So you guys don’t miss out on some very cool, very interesting things to come. I’ll see you guys in the next article .

Panasonic 4k GH4 Unboxing + GH4shooter.com Speed booster Nikon Lenses

Panasonic 4k GH4 Unboxing + GH4shooter.com Speed booster Nikon Lenses
Panasonic 4k GH4 Unboxing + GH4shooter.com Speed booster Nikon Lenses

Hey, guys, so here it is, the Panasonic G.H. four. I just recently got it in the mail. I’m really excited to open it up and check it out and show you guys what’s inside.

Now, this is my first Panasonic G.H. serious camera. I didn’t have a GJ two or for you, like a lot of you guys that are upgrading to this camera.

So it’s going to be a totally new experience for me, seeing how it feels in the hand and just using it altogether. I got the camera and I also got this Tokino. To 16, 2.8 for an icon.

And then this fifty one point eight also for Nikon. I’m not buying any Panasonic lenses. I actually ordered the speed booster to use these Nikon lenses on here, which is going to make them wider and faster. So if you guys are interested in seeing some Nikon lenses with that speed booster.

And if you want to see more article on the G.H. for I mean, have a lot of different stuff about it.You guys can see all that stuff.

And I actually have a segment 18 thirty five one point eight coming in the mail as well.

So also, when you guys know about a Web site to have opening up here really soon, it’s called a G.H. for shoot or dog com. It’s actually going to be a forum, a place where you can come in and post different things, any questions you might have and also see what other people are talking about.

So go ahead and bookmark that. G.H. for shooter dot com. It’s going to be an awesome Web site. And let’s go ahead and open up this G.H. for you.

All right, guys, so let’s get right into it. We have the box here and we’ll go ahead.

Open it up. So you have some instructions are right there already different accessories that you can get in another flap here. Here we have different manuals, c.D, stuff like that that nobody usually messes around with.

And another flap and one more flap. They’re really trying to keep it safe there. All right. So we have the G.H. for body right here for time, holding it in my hand. Let’s go ahead and pull that out. Might as well.

So you guys should know by my other article that this is the first G.H. series that I have. Other than that, I’ve always shot with canon cameras. Had I had a t one eye to eye and then I had seven D and then I had a five D mark too.

So this actually feels really nice in my hand. I like how the shutter button feels really nice, even though I’m not going to be using that very often. We shooting video with this.

So a lot of different options, lots of different menu, different settings, buttons on here, which is always nice so that you don’t have to fumble through menus. You have a your mike port and it’s really nice that it’s a separate little cover here. So you have to open up one long one with a bunch of different ports that are left open.

And we have our screen right here and battery goes in there. It looks really nice and big sized battery, probably about the size of the five demarked 2s, maybe even a little bit bigger. So hopefully we get a nice long recording time on there.

And your SD card slot will jack for remote. And on here we have a headphone jack, which is going to be very nice coming from the canon cameras that don’t have that option unless you spend over three thousand dollars with the five D mark three.

And of course we have a will cover on here. A small little sensor when you compare it to a full frame. But it should do a very, very good job.

So there that is. I’ll just take a quick peek in here, see what else we have inside there. So we have a shot here, Lou, make a G really big and noticeable charging cable charger. Then we have a little USP cable that will pulling every use and a battery right here. So just go ahead and just pop that battery in and see it start right up.

So the battery is almost identical to the canon one, which is really interesting. Let’s see where is the on button? Never used one of these, so it is. And please set the clock. All right. So I know the G.H. four is working and I’m and I have to put that adapter on and try out some lenses.

So if you guys are interested in seeing some more article on this G.H. four, I’m going to have a review article , lots of different sample as far as image quality, some ISO. A bunch of different stuff, along with wedding videos, music video, stuff like that that I typically work on.

So if you guys want to see that,And you guys will be updated on whenever I put up a new article.

And if you guys are also interested in seeing just kind of a different perspective compared to everybody else coming from the Cannon family, if cameras that most people are going to come from the G h 3s or twos, you guys will also be able see some article on that. So thank you, guys. And have a great day.

Fast Custom external SSD Inateck USB 3.0 hdd enclosure 1TB Samsung 840 evo

Fast Custom external SSD Inateck USB 3.0 hdd enclosure 1TB Samsung 840 evo
Fast Custom external SSD Inateck USB 3.0 hdd enclosure 1TB Samsung 840 evo

Hello, guys. Welcome to another article today. I’m going to be talking about some very fast USD 3.0 external storage.

Now, I was in need of some very fast external hard drive and options. I found out there were really expensive. I was surprised by how much of a markup the different products are compared to just the SSD they go inside of your computer.

So I actually found another option. This is a USP 3.0 portable hard drive enclosure by an attack, if I’m pronouncing that correctly.

This is very inexpensive. It’s under 20 dollars. Now, this one is plastic. They do have a couple other options, some different styles. One of them is aluminum.

But I chose this one just because it was very easy to put together. You don’t need to use any screws or anything. And it has an on off switch like you will see. We’re going to open this thing up. So for under twenty dollars, I think is a fantastic value.

And this one is actually specifically made for SSD. It has some type of either chip or something that actually helps it use more of your SSD capability compared to other regular enclosures.

So you’ll actually get high speed out of it. So this is what it looks like when it’s opened up. And I bought a Samsung one terabyte SSD to go in here and you’ll see how easy it is to put it. And you don’t have to mess with any screws or anything like that. So I’ll actually have a link in the description to the external enclosure and also to the SSD that I use.

Of course, you don’t use a one terabyte. You can use 120 gig, 250, 512, whatever you want, where you can grab a SSD you already have and pop it in there and get some really fast small storage that is powered just off of one U.S. B 3.0, which is awesome.

I love that. I have some other external drives that are USP 2.0. They’re big, bulky.

You have to plug them into the wall and they’re just not coming. So this is easy. Plug it in, hit the on switch and you’re good to go.

So if you’re using windows, go and use your search function and find the disk management. And as you see here, I just formatted mine to x fat because I wanted to use it on Mac and PCV.

Now, this is just a basic tests on the Windows side. I took some media I worked with, which is usually photos and video, and I transferred it from a raid zero set up in my P.C. to the SSD.

Now you see it’s writing at two thirty four megabytes a second, which is fairly decent, definitely better than anything that you’re going to get from a regular hard drive. And if you look at the task manager now, you’ll see that disk eight, which is the SSD drive Z is at fifty seven percent throughput, just not using everything that it can.

And if you look at disk three and five, those are my rate zero setup.

One disk is at ninety one percent and one is at seventy five. So it’s actually maxing out my rate zero set up. I think it’s actually limiting the data that’s coming through and my radio set was bouncing up to a hundred right there. So that’s the first that’s writing onto it.

Now I’m going to do a retest and you see here it’s running at three hundred ten megabytes a second, which is definitely good for an external just power to use USP 3.0. And then once again, if you look at the task manager, this time I’m testing it off of the SSD, the external onto my internal SSD, which is drive.

See, that’s where I have my operating system on. Now, if you look at disk eight, disk Zis at 76 percent. So it’s using more than it was before, but still not all the way.

And just six six disk C is where my operating system, all my programs are and so on. And that is that 100 percent. So it’s still limited by the hardware I have inside of this computer, not the actual SSD. And the last screengrab I have for you guys is the external SSD plugged in to my Mac.

And this is using Black Magic Designs Speed Test, and I let it go for almost the whole time.

And this is pretty much the average that I’m getting. I’m guessing that this is the full throughput of this external enclosure with us as D in it. It’s higher than numbers I’ve got on the windows side.

The right, as you see, is three hundred sixty six point two megabytes a second and Reed is three hundred fifty four point two megabytes a second.

Now, I am definitely happy with that. I know some of the other drives, even SSD that you can purchase for a lot more money. Don’t run as fast as this. So for under 20 bucks with some closure, you can throw any SSD one in there and or just a regular hard drive.

If you don’t need to be this fast, it’s a super, super good option. That is very inexpensive. Thank you guys for watching. I hope this has helped you out. If you’re interested in getting one, these external enclosures or the SSD, I will have links in the description. You guys have a wonderful day.

Canon C200 vs Panasonic G7 – BLIND Image Comparison

Canon C200 vs Panasonic G7 - BLIND Image Comparison
Canon C200 vs Panasonic G7 - BLIND Image Comparison

Hey, guys, Welcome to my comparison of the Panasonic G7 versus the Canon C 200.

Now, before you guys burn me at the stake, only you know that there is a world of a difference between these cameras.

Obviously, I know that I’ve been shooting with this for a while and I will have a full view of it coming out soon. Big shout out to Qadi from image one camera that loaned me his C 200. I would not be able to make this article or the full review or the other comparison article that I already did.

You guys can check out by clicking this card above without his support.

So check out their Web site, manof link to his Web site. In the video description, if you’re in the L.A. area, go ahead and check out his store. I did of log article there as well that you guys can check out by clicking this card.

And he’s just an awesome guy and it’s a awesome camera store that has the best customer service that I’ve ever experienced.

Thank you for letting me borrow this camera, Chaddy. I definitely appreciate and I think all the fans appreciate it as well. Now, what I want to say is I’m going to be doing a a B test with these cameras. And it really is the most fair way to see what you like better.

So I want you guys to get out a piece of paper or get out an app on your phone.

And as you watch these SIDE-BY-SIDE shots, write down what you like better, A or B and the to reveal it. So we’re gonna do a variety of tests. Dynamic range, image, detail, which for the detailed tests, anything.

What detail is using the same Lens Sigma 1835, which is sharper than this, 12 to 35, 2.8. And some other tests as well. See what you like better.

And then we’ll have autofocus video and that might reveal which camera is which. Obviously this has a dual pixel that rocks. So this is just a little video for fun.

And what I like to do is I just want to encourage anybody who’s getting started in filmic air who wants to get started. Don’t go on by a very high end camera. Get yourself a Panasonic G7.

That’s been my recommendation for beginner filmmakers for the last couple of years now a work around its quirks, its limitations, and just start shooting and spend some more money on lighting microphones in the other stuff they need and mainly just go out and shoot.

It’s a great camera, not only as A, B or C camera to the Hiren guys, but to get started as well. So let’s go ahead and take a look at the footage. All right, guys, so let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.

Did any of those comparison shots surprise you? Did anything really stand out to you and kind of reveal which camera was which? With this camera I shot with natural picture profiling.

Does not have vlog. And I think that’s a nice flat profile. Gives you some good dynamic range and some flexibility. Whereas with the C 200, I really tuned it for the scenario. So, for example, for the lowlight shots, I was shooting just the MP for which is D noise in that footage, making a look a little bit better and more like the dynamic range test that was shot in RA to maximize the potential of this camera.

So once again, there’s a world of difference between these cameras, but this is such a great camera for such a low price.

I’m I have a link to this guy in the article description where you guys can get a very low price on it. And even if you have been doing video for a while now and you’re shooting with a Sony, with Canon, with Panasonic, I recommend these as a B camera. That’s standard profile, surprisingly, matches up fairly well to Sony and to Canon.

You can grade a little bit and it gets you fairly close to start out with. So awesome camera.

And if you’re starting out once again, I highly, highly recommend this camera. I’m also going to link to the C 200 from image one camera. Once again, big shout out to them for making this video possible, for letting me keep this camera for much longer than I was originally planning to. It should have been back by now.

But, Qadi, thank you for being lenient with me. I definitely appreciate it.

I will say that this is my favorite cinema camera that have shot with. I did a review on the Black Magic Ursa Mini Pro four point six K on the F has five. And this is definitely my my choice, without a doubt, compared to those cameras.

Don’t forget to let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. Did any of the shots really real. Which camera was which. And did any really surprised by how well the G7 did. I want to hear you guys his opinions.

Once again, I might have links to both in the article description below. And if you guys want to see another article similar to this. Check out my five D Mark four versus the G7. That is a very surprising article.Where this thing spanked the canon camera and almost all of the tests. So thank you guys for watching.

Dual vs Single GPU’s for Video Editing

Dual vs Single GPU's for Video Editing
Dual vs Single GPU's for Video Editing

With the release of HMD risin eight core CPI use, we put together the best bang for the buck. Video editing p.c for just nine hundred ninety eight dollars.

A lot of you asked very similar questions about the build. So we’re going to be answering those in the next few videos to make sure you guys hit that subscribe button so you guys don’t miss out on those.

Quite a few of you asked about buying two graphics cards to use with the video editing. P.S., if you have more money to spend now with video games, you can use two graphics cards to improve your performance.

And up to Dubberly if the game is well optimized or have little to no impact. If the game isn’t so to test out dual graphics and video editing, we went out and bought another R X for 80. This card is a different cooler, but other than that it’s identical.

Both X effects eight gigabyte R X four 80s. Before we get into the benchmarks.

I wanted to give a big shout out to all the patrons who support us and make article like this possible as a thank you to them. We created an almost one and a half hour detailed step by step build guide for this B.S., starting from the parts in boxes all the way to Windows and driver installation. That video is available on our patrie on page.

So if you enjoy our channel and want to support feature article, consider supporting us and getting all the bonuses of being a patron.

We’ll leave a link in the description along with a full parts list for our build.

Premier Pro has supported dual graphics cards since 2013, so you would expect it to be fairly well optimized. Well, unfortunately, that is not the case.

When I started testing, editing and playback performance, I noticed that the second graphics card wasn’t doing anything at all. With some research, I figured out that Premier Pro only supports two graphics cards when you’re actually exporting and rendering a video.

So most of the times when you’re actually editing your video, it’s doing nothing at all, really.

Adobe after four years. So let’s just move on and check out a rendering performance. And let’s hope to see something positive, rendering a five minute 10 ATP clip with two Lutts and film grain applied.

We start to see both graphics cards being used and the dual arcs for eighties are a whopping four percent faster. That’s right. We saved a whole seven seconds. The same test and four K resource and three percent faster speed away.

I got that backwards. The single R X for eighty is three percent faster.

Now let’s move on to the toughest test, which is for four K clips scaled into a four K project with each one having two Lutts and film grain applied and two of those cliffs being reversed. This super complex render is where I expected do graphics cards to finally shine and we got a massive improvement of one percent.

Now, this really doesn’t make sense at first, but when you start monitoring GPE usage, you’ll notice that Premier Pro is either using one or the other and kind of switching back and forth instead of using both of them at the same time.

Which makes sense with our results being really almost no difference or even slightly negative.

Next, I started to take a look at Da Vinci resolve, and I also came up to the same issue of only one graphics card being used now this time. It wasn’t because of poor optimization, but it was because I had the free version of resolve, which doesn’t support dual graphics cards.

The paid version of resolve costs nine hundred and ninety five dollars, and one of the few extras over the free version is support for dual graphics.

Since they don’t use the Mitchell resolve in my regular work, I can’t justify spending a thousand dollars on the program. So I started to search online and surprisingly, there’s almost no info available on single vs. dual graphics cards.

After about an hour of searching, I did find a few pieces of information that was helpful, one of which is a YouTube video with a thirteen thousand dollar computer.

This thing is using two 12 core Xeon processors and four time X graphics cards. I’ll leave the link to the video and the description if you guys want to check the whole thing out. But I’ll summarize it here.

He did some different testing and there really wasn’t any improvement using the thousand dollar version with the four Titan next graphics cards versus using the free light version and just one of those graphics cards, editing performance playback smoothness was all the same. Now, when he rendered his black magic for K raw footage, he didn’t notice a difference of about 15 percent.

That’s about one minute saved for his project. Now, unlike Premier Pro DaVinci, Resolve does have some effects that are rendered using only the graphics cards.

I found an old article on Bare Feet Cellcom, where they tested single versus dual graphics using DaVinci resolves noise reduction since noise reduction has only rendered using graphics cards.

They literally saw a doubling of performance when you had two of them.

Now noise reduction is only available on the pay version, just like dual graphics card support is. So if you have the paid version and you use noise reduction, often dual graphics cards are worth it.

With the majority of video editors using premier pro, it’s very sad to see Adobe.

Not optimizing their programs. There’s no support for dual graphics while editing and when rendering this almost no different. And sometimes even a negative impact on top of that are really powerful. Aikau Rise and C.P.U is usually only about 50 to 60 percent utilized.

So in conclusion, do graphics cards are definitely not worth it for most of us.

And I think the biggest takeaway is Adobe. Please start focusing a little bit more on optimization instead of just putting all your efforts on adding new features.

If you haven’t checked out our nine hundred ninety eight dollar best bang for the buck video editing, p.c video, definitely check that out. And as a reminder, we have the step by step build guide for that computer available on our Patra on page.

Dramatic Lighting for Youtube

Dramatic Lighting for Youtube
Dramatic Lighting for Youtube

Hey, guys,I wanted to make another article talking about how to achieve a dramatic lighting. Look for your YouTube videos, as you guys see here. This is pretty dramatic.

We have the lights off. We have practical lights. We have some backlighting, some.

Out of focus areas. So it’s a really nice gray look compared to the standard bright setup. So we’re gonna show you step by step what you need to do to get this type of a look. As far as lighting and maybe lens options.

Now, before we go into each individual light and camera setup, I want to show you guys a whole picture of what our lighting looks like. So over here, you guys see our main lights.

This is a very large forty eight inch soft box. Nice and soft light. It’s gonna be our main key. Over there, we have a camera. It’s quite a bit away. So that we can get some nice compression with a longer lens. And then right on the side of me, you guys will see there’s two lights. This is access for the case and a little bit of a back light from myself.

Here we have, ah, one of the subjects. This is our case. I want it to be in the shot because that’s what we’re talking about. The second subject is gonna be myself sitting here.

And then we have another here or edged light right up there. That’s the kind of the main edge light that’s gonna be on my right shoulder. So let’s start off talking about where you’re going to place your subject.

As you guys see here, we have a table and it’s at an angle to the background.

And we have different objects there in the background with some distance between it. This is gonna give the effect of depth with different layers of objects.

And it’s going to look a lot nicer if you just set up a chair in front of a wall. It’s gonna be very flat and very plain and you won’t get a dramatic look. Now, here I have a computer on my desk because this is the second subject. It’s what I’m talking about.

And I’m going to be sitting on this stool and I’m the main subject.

Now, as you see, the computer case is actually two to three feet behind me and kind of over the shoulder because I want to make it look a little bit more interesting, a little bit more dramatic and has some depth between me and the second subject.

Now, let’s tuck the lens choice here. We have a crop sensor body with a 50 millimeter lens.

If you by a standard budget kind of DLR setup, it’s gonna have a kit lens is gonna be either sixteen fifty or eighteen fifty five.

But what you want to do is you want to zoom it in all the way because you get more compression with the background. It just looks better. Now this lens allows you to get down to F one point eight, which is really nice.

It’s gonna give you a subject background separation. So this example shot you guys see right here is using a kit lens and it’s at F five point six because that’s what the kit lens is limited to when you zoom in.

You see there’s a lot in focus and we have to have our ISO at a thousand, which is gonna degrade the quality. So here we have our settings at F five, six and ISO 1000.

Now at five point six is your standard kit lens and you need ISO 1000 to get a proper exposure. Since we have this nice F one point eight lens, we can lower down to F one point eight, which is the C makes the image very bright.

It’s going to give us less in focus because it’s so bright and there’s more light hitting the sensor. We can lower ISO all the way down to one hundred.

Now as you guys see the difference before and after, we have a lot less in focus, which looks nicer.

And we’re at our base ISO, which is gonna give you a higher quality video and less noise. So a pretty big difference, right? Even without adding any lighting, that makes it a lot more dramatic and it makes the shot just look a lot more interesting and more professional.

Now, the great thing is 50 mil lenses are really one of the cheapest and best bang for the buck options.

This lens for Sony is roughly about 250 dollars. If you have a candid camera, you’re really lucky because you can pick up something for about a hundred bucks or maybe one hundred eighty four Nikon.

So I’ll go ahead and leave a link of different lenses for different camera bodies.

And these are really the first lens you should buy after you get the camera with a kit lens and let you do a much more dramatic, nicer, more professional looking shot like you what you just saw. Next, we’re going to introduce our key light.

Now, Keila is basically your main light that’s lighting up your subject, and it’s the first light that you should introduce. So here we have a very large soft box and this is an aperture 120 D, so it’s a very nice LCD. I am going to link in the video description.

It is on the more expensive side, but is amazing light.

So if you’re just getting started, I’ll link a less expensive alternative as well.

So we’re gonna go ahead and turn this on and you’re gonna be able to see the difference in the shot without having this light. And with having this light. Now, this is a very powerful light.

So I only have it set to about sixty five percent brightness because it’s just so bright and so nice. Now you guys see it’s actually angled away from where our main subject is.

I’m not pointing it directly at my face because if I Dupain pointed at my face, it’s just gonna blast my face with light and having it at this direction. It hits my face or the subject’s face on the side. And it leaves a little bit of a shadow on the. Other side, which looks really nice.

Now, we’ve already improved the shot quite a bit from what we started with, but now we need to get it to a more dramatic look, which is why we’re going to be shutting off the lights. Now we’re going to introduce our hair light or in this case, more of the edge light. This is exactly what it sounds like. It’s an edge light.

And it gives you a nice framing on your subject. And it separates you from the background here. I’m using another aperture, and this one is a 120 t, which means tungsten.

So it’s a much warmer light. And you guys will see the difference on the subject before and after. It’s quite a bit of a difference.

And I only have this power at 35 percent. So these aperture lights are very powerful, like I mentioned. And I’ll link this in the description as well.

And here we have a frontal mount. And this allows you to adjust the beam. So we’re doing a more spot beam on our subject. Now, the next light we’re gonna introduce is this mini I can spotlight. It’s very inexpensive and it’s very flexible.

I absolutely love this light and I’m gonna be doing a review on it sometime soon.

I keep saying that, but let’s show you what difference this makes. This is going to light up some of the case.

And it’s also going to give me another edge light from this angle. The next night, we’re gonna introduce is this new word, LCD light with a tungsten filter added to it. This is one of the first lights I ever bought. It’s very inexpensive and it is quite wide.

So I’m a supplement. The spot beam with this wide beam. This is also going to light up the case. It’s going to separate the case a little bit from the background and it’s going to give a little bit more warmth on the side of me.

This has an adjustable level as well. I’m going to bring it down to about 75 percent. So not throwing too much light on our background. Now, the last lights we’re gonna introduce aren’t meant to light up your subject, but they’re called practicals.

They’re just light that are shown in the article that make it look more interesting, more dramatic and gives some more depth. So we have a lamp right here.

And then we have a salt lamp right here. So let’s take another look to how we started out.

Adjusted to a faster lens with less and focus and better low light added on our main key light. Then we switched off the lights, added in one edge light. Then another edge light. The lights up the case, a wider edged light. And then our practicals.

So quite a bit of a difference. Once again, I don’t have all these lights linked in the description and some alternatives to the more expensive lights that I used.

Hopefully this article helped you guys out and gave you guys some more ideas on what you could do for your videos to improve the quality and to make them more dramatic. All right, guys, let me know when you get started.

Rosewill Legacy U3 Case Unboxing Review – GTX Titan Fit Test

Rosewill Legacy U3 Case Unboxing Review - GTX Titan Fit Test
Rosewill Legacy U3 Case Unboxing Review - GTX Titan Fit Test

Hey, guys, welcome to my unboxing an overview video of the Rosewell, U3 Aluminum Micro ATX case. In the beginning, I’m going to have this unboxing and then this can be followed by some nice shots of the case.

And then I’m gonna see if I can fit the fairly large ten and a half inch G.T. X tight black edition graphics card in this small case.

And then I’m gonna take this case and fit it into a backpack and check to make sure that it’s portable. That’s a number one reason I’m building this. So starting off. That was the manual right there. And we have this box here, which has all your hardware mounting, Oshin screws and stuff like that. So there is the front of the case already.

You could see you have your to the USP 3.0 ports on the front and your audio output and input and that power switch. So take the box off here.

So you see it’s packaged fairly well with those two pieces of foam on the front or the top in the bottom of it could take those off.

So initial first impression is this case is super, super light. I figured it would be light because it’s all aluminum, but it’s just really unrealistic. Just holding your hand how lightweight this case is. But even though it’s so lightweight, it’s crazy how light it is.

This thing feels solid already, just having held it just a little bit. There’s the bottom.

There has some vents for your graphics cards going to be sucking air in through there. And you also have your mounting option for hard drives. Think you can put out three and a half inch Schriver to two and a half inch drives. So there is the front.

Once again, there’s a little On-Off power switch. Feels good, just clicking right there.

And just all the aluminum feels really premium. If you owned Apple products, you should know how this feels. It is definitely not cheap aluminum. It just feels really nice. So you have thumbscrews for your PCI ports on the back of a grill.

We’ll screen for your 120 Mila fan and it just doesn’t really flex. It’s very powerful. You have a fan switch speed selection. If you’re going to use that built-In fan, I’m going to be putting something else in there.

All right. We can take off this side panel here. You have your thumb screws which have little plastic washers on there, maybe rubber washers. So let’s take the panel off.

I guess you just pull out a little bit and then pull towards yourself will come off.

So once again, everything just feels really, really nice in your in the hand. Definitely built. Well, you had these all felt a little cut outs, I guess. So maybe stuff from vibration or just seal it better. And here’s your side.

A little mounting option for a single three 1/2 inch hard drive.

And I know you can put a two and half inch in there, maybe can kind of rig to two and half inch hard drive there, if you like. Once again, just this whole case feels really nice. You know, I really any sharp edges or anything like that, you would expect from a cheap case, I guess, and just feel solid. You have that little cables for the front power switch right there.

And let’s see here. See you guys can check out the inside there. I’m really love in this case already there. There’s the bottom. You could see. Flip it around here. So you guys can check it out.

So this is going to be my Mac pro killer, as I’m calling it.

I would actually own a Mac pro, the two thousand thirteen late 2013 model if it didn’t have a two month waiting list. I wanted something that small and it had to be portable. That’s number one. So I was doing research and I didn’t think I could build something as powerful. I would also be portable, but I figured I learned that I could.

So this is about the smallest case. I would fit the hardware that I needed. And as you’ll see later, the build that I put in barely fits in here.

So I’m just super happy with this case. If you guys interested in small kids, they can pack some power. This is it. So here’s a shot of the G.T. X tight black edition right next to the case.

And as you see, this really makes the case look small with this large graphics card right next to it. And here’s another shot from the side.

So the graph score is actually an angle. So it actually be a little bit taller. And I was nervous when I got the case to see if I’ll actually fit. If you look at this shot here, the graphics card is about as wide as the cases, but it actually does fit inside the case.

So that is a huge plus graphs, cards, 10 and a half inches.

So if you look here, it actually does touch the side of the case here. But the graphics doesn’t have any connectors or anything on the other side other than just the metal of the heat sink. So it shouldn’t have any problems.

All as you guys know, if I do have any problems about. I’m really happy it fits.

So here is the backpack that I purchased to fit this case in to and it’s actually a suitcase style backpack, so doesn’t have a bunch of little compartments like your standard backpacks.

And it’s actually a bit large, larger than I need. But I wanted to be on the safe side. Guys, I’ll have a link in the description to this backpack and also to the case to check out.

So you guys will see that article and I’ll have that up soon. If you guys have another case you like that’s also small, you can comment and like this article if you enjoyed it. Thank you, guys. And have a wonderful day.

Panasonic 12-60mm f_2.8-4 Review

Panasonic 12-60mm f_2.8-4 Review

Hey, guys,Just ended and we’re still here for another day. So we decided to come down here to the strip in Las Vegas and record our review of the new Panasonic like a twelve to sixty two point eight to F4 lens that I’ve been using this lens for close to a month now. And I use in a variety situations.

As soon as I got the G.H. five, I picked up this lens as well.

And there’s some things I like about it, but there’s one kind of main reason why I am not going to be keeping this lens. And I’ll let you guys know about that at the end of the article. But first off, let’s just look over the outside. I’ll give you guys a little bit information.

Now, this is a brand new lens, F2 Punti on the white end and F4 on the long end. And the design is really nice. I prefer this over like the twelve to thirty five design.

It has two switches here, auto autofocus and manual focus switch as well as their power optical image stabilization that’s built in.

That’s nice because if you’re using a body that’s smaller, it doesn’t have an actual dial. The GM, Ford and GM five do. It’s nice to be able to switch that here. What I like the most about this lens is the hood. Actually, they put this little lock on it and you can set it up either way so you can have the lock on one side or the other, depending how you attach it.

And it makes. So this doesn’t go anywhere. My lens it on the twelve to thirty five constantly comes off and this is just a non issue.

I really wish they put this on their latest version, two of the twelve to thirty five, but they did not. Now there’s no doubt that this lens is very sharp.

It is Alika and it’s very similar or maybe even a little bit better.

Twelve to thirty five, version two. So before we look more into this lens, let’s go ahead and take a look at some footage. Hopefully you guys enjoyed some of those shots. One thing that this lens offers is a dual image stabilization, two point.

Oh, that’s Panasonic’s best stabilization. That’s on the GJ five. So you can use both a simulation of the lens and the sensor and kind of work together. So I’m going to go ahead and do some sample walking shots so you guys can see how stable this is on the camera. Let’s try to walk as smoothly as I can.

Now, I don’t know what you guys stop, but to me, from my experience with this lens, the dual IBIS 2.0 works really, really well. And you can even kind of simulate some slider or some Gimbel’s shots with it. I’m going to go ahead and do a couple of those for you guys.

So the ibis obviously doesn’t replace us lighter or a gamble, but using the dual A-S system would like the G.H. five and adding a little bit of post stabilization really is awesome for being able to handhold and get the emotion into your shots.

So to finish off kind of this review article, I know it’s a simple one.

The reason why this lens doesn’t work out for me is that variable aperture. Now, of course, I knew coming into that is a 2.8 to four, but I was hoping for a little bit better low light performance out of the G.H. five.

And also, I was hoping that I would stay at F 2.8. A little bit longer than it did.

Basically, you only have F to 20 at that’s 12 millimeter. And as soon as you start zooming in just a little bit, it starts changing. And so the two point eight is almost not there unless you’re wide.

So if you want to use the full zoom range, you’re almost always really close to that EF four, which isn’t very appealing. Now, in low light situations where I often have to shoot you, shooting at EF four forces you to be at about 60, 400 ISO, maybe even more.

So, as you guys saw in some of those clips with even the G.H. five in the shots do not look good. So you really do need a faster lens.

So what I really would have liked is if they could have made this a little bit larger, maybe even then, you know, if they charged another two hundred dollars for it, but had the F 2.8 go at least to twenty five.

That gives you about a 50 mile equivalent. That’s a nice usable range.

Other than that, it’s almost like a four. Zoom now doesn’t mean it’s not going to work for everybody. You don’t shoot in. Lots of low light situations are not very sensitive to noise or grain.

Then it’s not gonna be as big of a deal if you’re doing some news-gathering logging, stuff like that, mainly in daylight. I think the lens is gonna do a great job for you.

Now, my other nitpicked with it is the actual focus ring. Now, electronic focusing rings are known to be not very responsive and hard to manual focus with because they’re not really consistent. But this is one of the worst electronic focusing rings that I’ve ever used.

It was very frustrating to try to do manual focused pulls with it. It was very, very slow and I twist to go fast and it go too fast and usually it could do a decent job with these after I’ve tried and played with a little bit.

But after, you know, over three weeks, this is still really frustrating.

So those are my two nit picks. This is not the right lens for me personally. I need something that’s 2.8 or faster, and I really wish that maybe Panasonic would put out like a F to zoom a larger, more expensive one.

I think it would sell really well for people that shoot in situations where I shoot. Thank you. Yes. For watching. If you guys has any questions you guys can ask in the comments section below. And if you guys bought one of these, you’re happy to let me know.

Let me know what type of stuff you shoot. A definite love to hear your Grice’s opinions. Thank you guys for joining us.

Best portable FAST inexpensive HDD. Seagate backup FAST USB 3.0

Best portable FAST inexpensive HDD. Seagate backup FAST USB 3.0
Best portable FAST inexpensive HDD. Seagate backup FAST USB 3.0

Hey, guys, today I’m going to be talking about this. This is a Seagate back up, plus fast additions, hard drive. Now, you might be wondering why are you making article about a hard drive? Hard drives are boring. Everybody knows about them.

Make article about something else. Now, this is where you’re wrong.

First off, I like making article about things I’m excited about and things I may bring value to you. And I think this is both. I’m very excited about it and I think it could bring a tremendous value to you. Now, this is obviously a portable hard drive.

Now the features are its USP 3.0 powered and it’s only USP 3.0. One plug to power, this whole thing. You don’t need any plugs into the wall.

You don’t need to be messing with a bunch of wires. One wire. That’s it. Which is absolutely fantastic, too. This is four terabytes in the set in my hand right here. I four terabytes of storage. Now there are actually two Samsung drives in here and they are in grade zero.

So you’re getting really fast performance in a tiny package all powered by one connection.

That is pretty much universal. So that is amazing. Now, the reason I bought this, if you guys saw my earlier video, I had a video about this little case that you can put SSD into. Now, I had a Samsung SSD in here, and it’s a great option for having really fast storage.

Now, this runs about 350 megabytes per second. And it’s a great option and it is quite pricey.

And it’s only one terabyte is the max you could do. Now, if you’re shooting for footage, especially ones like me, one wedding can be five hundred gigabytes, maybe even more. So this thing will fill up after, you know, two projects. It’s done.

So I needed some more space. Now, four terabytes is going to give me a lot farther.

This is not as fast, but still it is quite fast. It’s 220 megabytes per second, which is good enough. I think it’s fantastic. Not as good, but when you need the extra space to definitely take something like this. Now, here is my other Seagate drive. Now, this just has one hard drive in here and it’s one terabyte drive, and I absolutely love it.

This really kind of freed me after having one of those big external hard drives where you have to plug it in the wall and it’s really slow. You Asby 2.0.

This was a really big refresher and I absolutely loved it.

So going to something like this is going to be fantastic as well. Now, this one is actually smaller or shorter. I would say it is thicker, it’s heavier, but it’s not twice as thick. But, you know, it’s getting there. But still, it’s absolutely fantastic. It’s even shorter when you compare it to this entire case. It’s over an inch shorter. And which is the Spartz really crazy.

Here is my wallet right here. If you look is about the same size as my wallet, but it’s actually thinner than my wallet.

If I shove this into my pocket, it’s actually more comfortable having this and lighter than having my wallet in there, which is amazing. So what do you get when you get this hard drive?

Obviously, you get the hardware itself already talked about the specs and they do list that.

It’s a metal design, which I can’t really tell if it’s metal or not. I’m guessing what’s on the packaging has to be. But it does feel more sturdy than my other Seagate drive. Now, they also provide you with two sets of USP 3.0 cable, USP 3.0 cables.

Now, you don’t need to use both of them. You don’t need to them to give power to here.

What they did is they actually gave you two sets so you can choose which one you want to use. I think that is absolutely fantastic. They’re giving you a little bit more value when they don’t have to spend the money to do this.

They’re doing it just to kind of help you out if you need a longer cable. If your computer down below your desk, something like that, you can use the long one. If you’re like me and I’m have the Mac pro on my door sitting on my desk right there.

The short one is absolutely fantastic. Going to have a huge long cable.

I’m getting twisted up in different areas. You can use this one, which is awesome. So the last thing is you get a manual. And just the main feature on Gober is it has a three year warranty on there, another warranty similar to other hard drive, one to use.

But I was really happy to see this. A three or one, two, one. This is the raids.

Your drive, people say, has more risk in it. But compared to other hard drives, I have a one year warranty, basically get three times as much. Now, I had a Western digital harddrive that had a one year warranty and I went out a month after my warranty, which really, really stuck because I couldn’t really do anything about it. So three years is awesome to have.

And even though you have that warranty, you guys please back up your data.

Please have an extra hard drive. Get a five terabyte Seagate for one hundred eighty bucks, a slow version, backup all your stuff onto there. If you can back up into the cloud with a service like back, please do that as well.

So you don’t want to lose any raw data. So the reason why I picked up this hard drive before we go into some tests is the pride. Well, all the specs that I mentioned and the price, this guy is two hundred and seventy dollars.

The price could be going down if you’re watching this article later.

But what you get for two hundred seventy dollars is absolutely fantastic. I didn’t find anything else out there that matched up. Had the storage, the one plug, the price, the performance. Nothing really compares out there.

I was looking at like Lee CEG drive bunch of different options and either they’re a lot larger, a lot slower. You have to plug it into wall in a lot more expensive war.

Combination of those. This is small, fast, one plug and lots of storage, which is fantastic. So as you guys play, tell them I highly recommend this so far. Now the numbers are 220 megabytes per second for the speed of this hard drive. But we’re gonna go ahead and do a quick test and I’ll show you guys what it’s getting on my computer.

All right, guys, here is that black magic speed test. This one says to 34, right, and to 20 read now it would average around here and go about 200 at the lowest. And that actually go up to 270. Read and write at the height. So definitely really fast for such a small drive.

All right, guys. So hopefully this video was interesting for you guys.

Hopefully bring some value, either entertainment value, just killing some time or gave you a great suggestion for the next hard drive that you guys should buy. Or maybe a present for somebody else. Any of that stuff would be just fine for me.

So if you guys are interested in this hard drive or just any more information, you guys can check out the description. I’ll have a link on there. Now, if you guys have any questions about the Seagate drive or anything else, go and ask them ascription.

I’ll definitely get back to you guys. And of course, if you guys are interested in the G.H. for check out G.H. for Chuter dot com.

Just a forum about the GJ for you guys can talk to me over there and other people.

And lastly, if you guys are interested in more information about the speed boost, the revenue website called Speed History Guide dot com with more information. Speed Racer, just a nice organized place for that. And I’m putting out some guys.

Check that out. So thank you guys for watching. Hopefully you enjoy this article and I will see you guys later.

Best GH4 Memory Cards – Don’t Waste your $ Use These Cards

Best GH4 Memory Cards - Don't Waste your $ Use These Cards
Best GH4 Memory Cards - Don't Waste your $ Use These Cards

Hey, guys, today we’re gonna be talking about memory cards for the G each four and how you can save yourself a lot of money. Now, this is a Kingston 64 gigabyte U. H. S AI class three.

Hopefully I said that correctly. This is a memory card that Panasonic recommended to everybody to use in their g h fours.

Now, my biggest question, when I was researching the G h four right after was announced when all the specs guy released is do I really have to use these cards? And this is really the only card that’s out there right now that’s available in this speed.

And it’s one hundred and ten dollars. Now, one hundred and ten dollars might not be a lot if you are making YouTube videos, if you don’t have to record a ton of footage at once. And if you’re spending a bunch of money on the G.H. for, you could play for this card. But there are people like me that are getting into, let’s say, wedding videographer.

Where I need a lot of these cards. I need ten to fifteen cards just for myself.

And my second shooter is gonna have to buy his own cards as well. That’s a lot of money. It’s a thousand to fifteen hundred dollars more than that actually for these cards.

And my biggest question is, do I really need to use these? So this card right here is the SanDisk. Forty five megabytes per second extreme. This is a 32 gig, but they have 64 gigs as well and 128 gig. Now, this is one hundred ten dollars. If this was a 64 gig, it would be about 60 dollars. So almost half the price. So I have quite a bit ities.

And as soon as I got my G.H. for I didn’t even get this in the mail until just today.

And I said this card and I started messing around and it works perfectly fine. Now this card is forty five megabytes per second, which is enough to do the four K video and the high bit rate 10 ADP video.

So I’m not sure why Panasonic told people you have to use this card.

Maybe they just wanted to make sure that if somebody is buying cards to get one, that’s going to be the guaranteed fast enough to work. That kind of makes sense. But you guys can save yourselves a lot of money and use these cards and make sure that they’re SanDisk extreme cards. Don’t buy another brand.

I’ve got other brands before and they’re slower than they’re rated.

Maybe the reason these work in here is because they’re actually as fast as they’re rated. Other card manufacturers will give you like the top end speed that it can go. And a lot of times it’s half of that. So this actually goes at forty five megabytes per second is fast enough for that for K in the high bit rate, 10 ATP.

So don’t buy these cards unless you have a ton of money and you really don’t care.

Or maybe you just don’t need a lot of footage. So you just want to buy just because. But you guys could buy these cards. Save yourselves on money. I’m going to have a link in the description to Amazon, where you can buy these for about 60 dollars for the 64 gigabyte, or you can buy a small one if you’d like.

But do keep in mind, if you’re shooting for K 64 gig card like this holds about an hour and a half. Now, if you’re shooting high bit rate 10 ADP, it’s about forty five minutes.

So chances are you’re going to need more than one card. So grab these SanDisk, go hit up that link. And I also just wanted to make a quick mention. I picked up four of these batteries. These are Chinese batteries and they work really, really nice.

A lot of times those Chinese batteries that don’t work, they don’t tell you much battery life you have left. So I did some research and I pick these up now for twenty two dollars.

You can get two of these batteries. And this is just a charger for them. And this is about nine bucks on Amazon. I have links in the description for this as well. Now the Panasonic battery is about forty five to fifty dollars or for that same price or just a little bit more. I bought four of these. I’m actually have one in the camera right now.

And I bought a battery charger like this. So these were fantastic. I like buying high quality stuff, but I also like buying something that is high quality but less here of a price if I didn’t have to spend that much money.

Sometimes you have to spend a lot of money. Right now I’m using a man, Frodo Tripod, because a cheap the cheap tripods really are cheap and it’s worth spending more money and getting a nice tripod.

But sometimes you can spend a bit less money and still get exactly what you’re paying for.

And it’s going to work fantastic like these batteries. So if you guys want to see more article about the Jeep forum and to be doing a lot of different stuff, I bought a lot of nice lenses, the speed booster.

So I’m using all Nikon Glass on the Jeep for so I’ll have videos about that and I’ll have some other different article as well.

And also, I’m making a website called G.H. for Chuter dot com. That will be out really shortly. So you guys can bookmark that Web site.

And it’s just going to be a forum for a G.H. for users and people that want to buy a Jeep for want to find out more about it to go on there and chat just like any other forum. But. Specific to the GJ for so you guys bookmark that and you can join me on there shortly.

So thank you guys for watching this article. If you have any comments, go ahead and ask them below. And I’ll be glad to answer any questions you may have about the G.H. for and I have these links in the description if you want to get a good deal on a card. So thank you guys for watching and I’ll see you later.
